The Future of Drugs

Drug abuse is a serious problem around the world.

So what is America going to do to prevent this problem?

Some argue that we should make drugs legal and in Switzerland, they are close to doing just that.

Today the Swiss population is voting on whether or not to make a heroin prescription program a nationwide policy.

Check out the article here.

The program is for serious addicts that have tried to quit already. The idea is that if these users are given the drug in safe and controlled amounts then they will be able to live decent lives.

I don't think America will ever do anything like this, in fact, I doubt even marijuana will ever become legal in America.

However, as anyone who has had personal experience or encountered anyone with a drug abuse problem can attest, there is still plenty of work to be done in solving the drug problems of America and the rest of the world.

If only we had some sort of robotic cop to put an end to the drug problem...
